River Cleanup!

Join White Oak-New Riverkeeper Alliance to help us keep our state's watersheds clean. Pollution in our water destroys wildlife habitat and food sources, and it ruins many opportunities for recreation. Everyone suffers from harmful debris entangling boat motors, hurting animals, and tarnishing nature's beauty.

The clean up will be #1 in a series of 4 in the first annual "Tour de Trash." At the end of all 4 clean-ups, prizes will be awarded to the individual or team that collected the greatest amount of trash by weight over the 4 clean ups.

We'll be meeting at 9 am at the Trade Mart/Hess Station at 3462 Richlands Highway. We will provide water, trash bags and canoes or kayaks, or bring your own paddlecraft!
